Groups

The Groups page allows the user to view existing groups and create new groups.

Add Groups

To create a new group, follow the below instructions,

  1. Click button located on the top right corner of the screen.
    The Add Groups window opens.

  2. Enter the group name and description details in the respective fields.
  3. Optionally, add initial set of users to the group by following the below instructions,
    • Search the user by entering the email id in the Search field.
    • Multiple users can be selected by clicking the checkbox next to each email id.
    • Click the Select All checkbox to select all users at once.
  4. Click Create Group to create the group and save to AkriManager.
    The details of the saved group can be viewed in the Groups page.
  5. Click icon to close the window and go back to the Libraries>Groups page.

In the Groups page, the following fields are displayed,

Note: An Admin can create groups to group related users.

Name

The group names are displayed in this column.

To search a particular group,

  1. Enter the group name in the search field and click Enter on the keyboard.

Description

The group descriptions are displayed in this column.

To search a particular description,

  1. Enter the description in the search field and click Enter on the keyboard.

Added By

The details of who added the group is displayed in this column.

To search the details,

  1. Enter the mail id in the search field and click Enter on the keyboard.

Added On

The date on which the group was added is displayed in this column.

To search the groups which were added on a particular date,

  1. Select the date (dd/mm/yy format) from the calendar and click Enter on the keyboard.

User Count

The user count is displayed in this column.

Actions

This column displays options to,

View Group Details

To view details of a group, follow the below instructions:

  1. Clickicon in the Actions column. The group details are displayed.
  2. Click icon to close the window and go back to Libraries>Groups page.

Delete a Group

To delete a group, follow the below instructions:

  1. Clickicon in the Actions column. A window with Delete and Cancel buttons is displayed.

  2. Click Delete to delete the group or Cancel to go back to Libraries>Groups page.

Edit a Group

To edit a group, follow the below instructions:

  1. Click icon in the Actions column. The Edit Group window opens.

    Group Name and Description is displayed.
  2. Search the user by entering the email id in the Search field.
  3. Multiple users can be selected by clicking the checkbox next to each email id.
  4. Click the Select All checkbox to select all users at once.
  5. Click Update Group to save the changes.
  6. Click icon to close the window and go back to Libraries>Groups page.
