Cartridge Repair Flow

Load Cartridge from Shipping Box to Copy Machine

Upon successful login the operator is now supposed to remove the cartridge from the shipping box and load the same to the Copy Machine to continue with the event.

Once the Cartridge is removed from the Shipping Box and inserted into the Copy Machine the backend system will trigger the subsequent system calls “Copymachineinitstatus”, “Copymachinecopystatus”, “Copymachinecompletestatus” and then allows the operator to proceed with the next sequence.

Follow the below instructions to load cartridge from shipping box to copy machine:

1. Click Load Cartridge from Shipping Box to Copy Machine from the Dashboard of the mobile application.

   Details of the shipping box is displayed.

2. Click Scan button to scan the Shipping Box.

3. Click the Scan button to scan the Cartridge.

Details of Cartridge is displayed.

4. Click Re-Scan button to re-scan the Cartridge.

Details of the Copy Machine is displayed.

5. Click the Scan button.

6. Click Re-Scan button to re-scan the Copy Machine.

Re-Scan

Cartridge is successfully loaded from the Shipping Box to Copy Machine.

7. Click Next Scan to load more cartridges or click Home.

Loaded Cartridge

Remove Cartridge from Copy Machine and pack in Shipping Box

Once the system calls “Copymachineinitstatus”, “Copymachinecopystatus”, “Copymachinecompletestatus” has processed and completed successfully, operator is now allowed to Remove the Cartridge from Copy Machine.

Operator receives a push notification stating “Move Cartridge from Copy Machine to Shipping Box”.

Once the Cartridge is removed from the Copy Machine and packed to the Shipping Box the application allows the Client operator under the Client location to proceed with the next sequence.

Follow the below instructions to Remove Cartridge from Copy Machine and pack in Shipping Box:

1. Click the Action button.

2. Click the Scan button to scan the Copy Machine.

3. Click Re-Scan button to re-scan the Copy Machine.

4. Click the Scan button.

5. Click Re-Scan button to re-scan the Cartridge.

Details of the Shipping Box is displayed .

6. Click the Scan button to scan the Shipping Box.

7. Click Re-Scan button to re-scan the Shipping Box.

Cartridge is successfully removed from Copy Machine and packed into Shipping Box.

8. Click Next Scan to move more cartridges or click Home.


Cartridge Removed

Remove Failed Cartridge from Copy Machine

Operator is supposed to perform this activity during the below listed scenarios:

  • Cartridge Insertion Failure at Gateway - RecoverableCartridgeError
  • Recoverable Cartridge error count exceeds max retry count
  • Cartridge Insertion Failure at Gateway - UnrecoverableCartridgeError

Cartridge Insertion Failure at Gateway - Recoverable Cartridge Error

Once the operator is done with “Load Cartridge from Shipping Box to Copy Machine” flow and if the backend system call “Copymachineinitstatus” gets failed. Operator receives a push notification saying “Cartridge insertion failure. Remove cartridge(cartridge id) and Reinsert”. Operator is now allowed to remove the failed cartridge from the Copy Machine and perform the Load Cartridge from Shipping Box to Copy Machine” flow again.

Recoverable error count exceeds max retry count

Once the operator is done with “Load Cartridge from Shipping Box to Copy Machine” flow and if the backend system call “Copymachineinitstatus” gets failed subsequently for 5 or more times. Operator receives a push notification saying “Retry count exceeded. Remove fault Cartridge(Cartridge ID) and insert new Cartridge”. Operator is now allowed to remove the fault cartridge from Copy Machine and perform the “Load Cartridge from Shipping Box to Copy Machine” flow again inserting a new cartridge.

Cartridge Insertion Failure at Gateway - Unrecoverable Cartridge Error

Once the operator is done with Load Cartridge from Shipping Box to Copy Machine” flow and if the backend system call “Copymachineinitstatus” gets failed upon setting unrecoverable state under the detailed error field while initiating the system call. Operator receives a push notification saying “Remove fault Cartridge(Cartridge ID) and insert new Cartridge”. Operator is now allowed to remove the fault cartridge from Copy Machine and perform the “Load Cartridge from Shipping Box to Copy Machine” flow again inserting a new cartridge.
