# View & edit label specs

In this article, you will learn how to edit an existing label spec to create different versions of the spec or create a new label spec with a different name. The article also explains the steps to filter for the label specs and list them based on various filter conditions.

### View and edit a label spec

2. On the **Labeling Specs** page, locate the label spec that you want to edit and click **View**.

6. To view the versions created
  1. On the left-navigation pane, navigate to **Labels** > **Specs**.
  2. Locate the spec that you just edited and saved, and click **View**.
  3. On the spec page, click **Versions** on the right side below the timestamp to view the versions created. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/3e9d4528-fbc6-4948-a804-8ee7068e7ac3/Images/Documentation/label-spec-versions(2).jpg) You can select the required version and can iteratively create as many versions as you need in the same way.
7. To save the spec as a new label spec

  2. Enter a **Spec Name**, and click **Save**.

The spec with its first version will be listed under **Label** > **Specs** > **Labeling Specs**.

### Filter for label specs

You can filter to locate the required specs on the Labeling Specs window.

2. **Filter by type**: You can filter for the label spec based on their spec type.
  1. Select **Classification** to list all the corresponding specs for which the Spec Type is Classification.

3. **Filter by class**: Enter a class name to filter for all the corresponding specs.

4. Click **Submit**. Based on the details specified for Filter by type or Filter by class, the **Labeling Specs** screen displays the relevant specs.
