# Download config

The adectl CLI tool requires user configuration information to connect to the web portal.

1. On the left navigation panel, navigate to **Utilities -> CLI/SDK -> Get CLI/SDK Config**. **![](https://cdn.document360.io/3e9d4528-fbc6-4948-a804-8ee7068e7ac3/Images/Documentation/untilities-options.jpg)**
2. Copy the SAAS mode configuration information as shown below.

3. Save this to a file (say adectl_saas.json) on the machine where you want to set up adectl.
