# Download adectl tool

Before configuring and installing the adectl tool, you will need to download the tool.

1. In the navigation panel, navigate to **Utilities** > **CLI/SDK**>**Download CLI Tool**.

You can also click the **Get Download Link** and use the curl command to download the tool.

Once the download is complete, you can [configure the installation](https://docs.akridata.ai/docs/configure-adectl-saas) and [install the adectl tool.](https://docs.akridata.ai/docs/install-adectl-saas)
